Bio

Community evolution interests me- from interspecies and intersexual interactions to the ways in which contemporary art and scientific practices affect perception and life history evolution. My research relates art and the design of systems to the roles that humans and non-humans perform in science, technology, and society. These translate into creative strategies for teaching and learning as well as transdisciplinary implementations of design solutions.

I received my B.A. and M.A. from the Department of Biology at Indiana University, Bloomington and my M.F.A. from the School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
