"Project description: Creating five installations/devices in five different locations in Bangalore that will monitor pollution levels, transmit the data and effectively visualize this data
Objective- create awareness about growing pollution levels in the city and trying to affect/influence decision makers/suggest possible solutions??"
Audience- masses and policy makers
The course was introduced with an overview of the logic of sensing and processing pollutants using a basic mircrocontrolller and sensors.
Where are the different pollutions? What is the technology available to us ? Why are we doing this?

Why us? The possible role of an artist or designer who is being commisoned by scienctists. What could we bring to the table? We believe that we fit better into a framework which could be described using the following key words: Social responsibility propoganda, political, expression, aesthetics, usability, interfacing

Research Land Art:in which landscape and the work of art are inextricably linked. These are art works with landscapes usually with materials found in the sorrounding areas where the whole space and the intervention itself becomes the art work.

Bell Pollution
You wake up everyday and look out into the sky and wonder what the weather will be like. Sometimes you don’t step out and instead switch on and check the weather report. But anyways you end up guessing . “Today looks like a good day” or a bad one, it might reflect your mood, or your previous day, or that coffee you might be sipping onto but lets forget that for a second shall we. We don’t work with numbers and reports all the time, sometimes it is that feeling you get seeing the clouds, feeling the breeze, the taste of the air which comes together to form the picture of that day ahead.
How do we feel pollution? When you are in the middle of it you might coughing...
