Course Beginnings
Our course began with us experimenting and researching. Experimenting with the Arduino board and processing, seperately at first and then together. Broken up in days below, this is basically what we did.
After having a brief introduction to what pollutants are and what kinds of pollution affect us directly or indirectly,we started on the arduino board and saw the blinking LED code in use. David Dunn was majority of who we learnt about on [David Dunn]. Learning and researching about composers, was interesting to some extent but then got a little tired of reading their life histories and works. All in all a good start to the course and am looking forward to whats coming up.
Processing and more processing... it's great. Learning a lot, and getting a natural high when my copy pasting of codes actually works...
Making a map. First "Homework" Assignment. Sorry but the map got deleted after i had to format my computer. Read about The BSOD trouble down.
Damn... forgot the arduino board cable today... "Beg, Borrow, Steal"

Processing getting more and more interesting day by day. Waiting to get my hands on the real thing now.
Unwell... Damn It. Heard we used LDRs and played around with them and the Arduino. I tried downloading Putty and some other software but had no clue of what use it was. Something about servers.

Pachube. This stuff is really cool . WTF? - Second Life Streaming ? Why ? Oh... so norvajek... something's weather can be seen. Realtime. Nice. CEMA has one too... cool !
Now Our turn.
We made a sun with a LDR in the middle of it and put it up on a wall in the school. We connected to the net and sent data to [Pachube]
DIY Electronics
Made a sound box. Worked with Marc dusjagr. Some amazing stuff. Noisy as hell though. Becomes an annoyance after a point but you get used to it. Noise Music is something I particularly dont get at all. I mean, there's a difference between Noise and Music, so how can they be put together ? Beats me.
30th Juy was our Sound Box Jam session. Pretty amazing stuff. it finally started sounding like music.
DIY Biology
Making a microscope by inverting a webcam...... Thats possible ? Wow. Screen Pixels are so clear. You can actually see the R-G-B pixels. Bloody amazing !
This high tech, funky LEGO apparutus was our microscope with the webcam in the middle. We spent an hour and a half building the microscope stand and 15 minutes to make the microscope work. Weird !

The O2 Gas Pump : Prototyping
We started off by ideating on what the pump should look like. It was unanimous that it should be futuristic looking. From ideating to prototyping, Me, Sachin,Sandeep, Dhruv C, Neeraj and Abrar finished it all. The Project came to a halt due to lack of materials but when the acrylic sheets came in, our entire idea changed. We thought of putting in "The Last Surviving Plant" inside a "Controlled Enviornment", being gimmicky and showing the audience theat you will get clean pure oxygen from the last plant.

That's Brilliant! 1st September onwards, I have seen so many BlueScreens that I have half a mind of flinging my comp out of the Window. Can't get a damn thing to work properly.
Trying to work SketchUp side by side along with BSOD. Pain.
Made sketchup models of all our final products for our seniors to make the publication.
