Exercises done before: Drawing 16 equidistant boxes and making alternate rows of a different colour. Making each alternate box of a different colour. Changing colour using the keypress command and using specific keys to change colour and size etc.

In class we have been playing around and experimenting with processing and Arduino. As they go the programmes are emerging with with different options to think of how one can deal with all the data we get when the sensors are being made. More functions and points have come to our notice such as, mouse functions being mouseX, mouseY, mousePressed() .. time based functions- seconds(), millis() and image and font loading- Pimage, Pfont.

Last few weeks we have been chalking out different products in terms of audience and strategy and placements. Discussions, randomness and talks helped in fine tuning the ideas and figuring out the purpose of why its being used.

The first product that was thought off being performance based .. Garlanding political figures. The garland that illuminates itself as red when the pollution level is above a certain level, green when it is below. 2 sets of LEDs were connected in series after which we started programming the arduino board.

The Garland requires the Arduino board, the general Air Quality gas sensor, RGB LED strip, transistors and bread board, wires, switches,resistors, etc

The second product thought off is installation based.. using a helium filled balloon that shapes changing altitude levels and glow to indicate pollution. The helium balloons is visualised in the shape of a demon head.. that is going to be fixed in specific locations. We have needed to use Stepper motor, baloons, helium and LEDs.
